Keiss Archery Club was formed early in 2008 to further the sport in Caithness. It currently runs two sessions a week at Keiss Hall (click for map) catering for beginners and experienced archers alike, and all ages from 10 upwards. Although the majority of the group use modern recurve bows, there are a few shooting traditional long bows, and occasionally compound and hungarian bows. |

New starts will have to contact the club prior to attending to ensure there will be someone available for first time tuition. Once a suitable level of accuracy has been attained and your own equipment purchased (advice on this aspect is available from our more knowledgeable members if required), you may join the more experienced members from 7:00pm onwards and compete against them in a relaxed and friendly competition. There is also a Sunday afternoon competition session, again open to those at a reasonable level and having their own equipment, from 2pm - 3:30pm. |

After 6 weeks you
can opt to become a full Club member for an annual membership fee of £64 for Adults or £15 for Juniors. Membership fees are used to join the archery governing body, GNAS |
